Take That!!

We have big plan for today and that is to go swimming but before we can reach the destination, it began pouring. So we decided to move our activities indoor and ventured off to the changi airport terminal 3 to watch the airplanes.

Here's ray showing off his pearlies....8 of them now, 4 upper and 4 lower. Some of them half sprouting but i tell you....it hurts when he bites!!

We grew tired of watching the planes and the rain has cleared as well so pa pa mui decided to take us to Changi Beach Club to have a look at the wooden slits that he was raving abt.

The boys are enjoying the sea breeze and see how happy they are..lalallaalla...

And pa pa mui decided to plant a kiss on Ray.....just lke he always does.

But Ray reacted funnie this time...hahahhaa....as he shoved pa pa mui away!!

10 months 2 weeks (24th Feb)

"Bye Bye, Ray!! Wave bye bye!!" This has been going on for abt a few weeks well... in fact months and finally our effort has beginning to reap return. Ray can now wave goodbye but of cos subject to his mood.

Initially, we were always waving ourselves crazy trying to illustrate to Ray what BYE BYE is and now he has finally learnt the true meaning. It is indeed an important milestone for all of us.

Next up...sending flying kisses!!

10 month 1 week (17th Feb)

This morning as i was wearing my shoes getting ready for work when Ray started to crawl on his fours towards me...slowly but steadily.

Ray has been doing the leopard crawl since he was 8 months old plus. He started out like a praying mantis ie moving front and back on his fours but not moving an inch at all, i guess he just is taking his time, trying to steady his every move.

In no time, i bet Ray will be all over our house....with ma ma mui screaming at his every move!!

A Nice Visit From Devon

Since i have started to work the shorter hours, i can also plan my work hours. Thus i decided to take 2 hrs off work today to catch up with my pal Evon and her son Devon. We went to Jurong Point for a nice lunch but retreated back to home cos...when u have 2 babies in toll, home is still the best!!

Here's Devon trying out the walker for the first time, i must say he is definitely enjoying the new freedom.

And this 2 guys spent some good time rolling and tossing in bed, trying to out do each other with their motor skills. Just look at Devon, atempting a sommersault at his young age.

First Visit To The Beach

The sea, the sand and the sun (well almost).....all the 3 S!! This is the first time that Ray is being brought to the beach. It wasn't the best day to be at the beach as u can see the dark clouds gathering at the back of the picture. However, that means we can have more fun w/o the scorching sun.

But we can all see that Ray is not quite used to the texture of sand. But he was totally amazed at the waves that were hitting the beach.

4th Feb 2009 - 10th Month

Its official...ma ma mui is now working 9am to 2pm w.e.f 2th Feb 2009, 5 days a week in order to spend more time with Ray. The decision came easy, especially with the support of pa pa mui (who will from now on, support my shopping spree) and the special arrangement with my company.

I am always motivated to rush home, knowing that Ray will be waiting for me at home. And the fact that i can always buy him snacks and enjoy it together...the bonding with him just grow stronger everyday.

Ray's Make Over

Lately, we have been doing housekeeping of all the pics of Ray and we realised we have not posted of his make up in Sept 08. I dont know if Ray had fun but we as parents, definitely did.

The photographer was absolutely besotted by Ray....he said Ray is such a smiley baby and it was easy to get pics of him smiling....that i certainly agreed....smiley baby.

And of cos, how can Ray missed out on the classic post of all babies.....
